Nikki Deol Assistant Director Legal, Governance & Compliance - 0:00:00
Good morning, members. My name is Nicky Deol.
I am the statutory monitoring officer and assistant director of legal governance and
compliance for the combined authority.
In my role as monitoring officer, it's appropriate that I provide procedural and constitutional
advice and we have been notified that either the chair or the vice chair is available for
this meeting and therefore it is appropriate that we proceed to have a chair to open this
meeting.
I would invite members around the table to move a motion for the election of a chair
for this meeting.
I hope that's clear.

I'll second that and we can have all the advisory members that can sort of secondMr Tamsin Hart Jones (Private Sector Representative) - 0:01:05

Thank you on that basis it counts Courtney, can I invite you to the chair? So that given that that procedural item and aspect of the meeting has now concluded for
the chair, the next stage of this process and procedural matter is that we must legally
be coret for the meeting to open and take place.
It has come to my attention that we are not coret.
We do not have three constituent council members available or indeed local authority co -opt
the committee.
And unfortunately, because the
meeting requirements have not been met, I would invite the
chair to close the meeting so that the meeting can be
scheduled to another time.
≫ Okay.
I obviously have to go with your advice, Nikki.
So that's what we'll have to do.
We'll have to officially close the meeting.
Thank you.
